TEHRAN – Iran will take part in the Asian beach football in the United Arab Emirates, reported the federation here Saturday.
The Arab state will play host to the tournament from May 22-26.
Six teams from the UAE, Iran, China, Bahrain, the Philippines, and Japan are to compete in the Asian event.
The top team will book a berth in the world event that will be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from November 2-12.
Brazil, Uruguay, and Argentina have so far qualified for the world competitions.
