As you may know, on November 17 Scotland will face Italy in their final EURO 2008 qualifier. The Scots can secure a spot in next summer’s festivities if they defeat the Italians in Glasgow’s legendary Hampton Park.
This, arguably, is the most exciting match for the diehard Scottish fans, nicknamed The Tartan Army, in more than ten years. They have been long suffering from series disappointments, and here there is an opportunity for their team to help them put all that behind them.
A friend of mine, who happens to be a proud member of the Tartan Army, sent me this video that was so tastefully done that I decided to share it with others.
If you listen carefully you will hear the narrator’s play off the words of Declaration of Arbraoth that goes like this:
