According to sources close to the Iranian Football Federation, Team Melli will play a friendly with the Thai national team on Tuesday, May 26 on Tehran’s Azadi stadium.
Team Melli was originally scheduled to leave for China on May 25 for a nine day training camp during which they would meet the Chinese National Team and a Chinese club side. However, because of the change in the schedule, the team’s stay in China will be cut to four days, and the match against the club side be cancelled. The new departure date for China is Friday, May 29.
