The spokesman for Perspolis FC told reporters that the rumors concerning Romario or Stefan Effenberg signing with the club are rumors by the media.
The club is currently trying to sign three unnamed foreign players to strengthen the squad. However, no details will be released until the agreements are finalized and the contracts signed. The club spokesman went as far as reassuring fans that the club is not considering retired or over forty years old players.
