Three matches were played on the first day of the IPL Round 28. The top two teams, Esteghlal and Pas, both came away with convincing victories. Esteghlal defeated Foolad 4:1 and Pas defeated Bargh 3:1. With two games to go and three points separating them, this should make an exciting ending to this season.
In the third game Sepahan defeated Fajr 3:0.
