Saba Battery and Zob-Ahan played a 1:1 draw in the 28th Round of the Iranian Pro League. Playing in Tehran’s Darakhshan stadium, visitors Zob-Ahan took the lead in the second half through a goal by Hassan Ashjari. However, in the injury time Saba were awarded a penalty and skipper Ali Daei converted from the spot to help his team salvage a single point from certain defeat.
Saba are now third behind Esteghlal and Pas with 49 points. Zob-Ahan stand fifth with 44.
