According to Hannover 96 website Team Melli striker Vahid Hashemian suffered a knee injury over the weekend during the Bundesliga match against Mainz. Hashemian had to leave the game in the second half; however, at the time it was not clear what the reason for the substitution was.
According to Hannover’s team doctor Wego Kregehr who examined the twenty nine year-old striker on Monday, Hashemian suffered an Anterior Cruciate Ligament injury which could put him out of action for at least four weeks.
